- Light Crafts -
The makers of LightZone, an advanced photo editing software package
that I use. The Windows and MacOS versions cost about $250, but
the Linux version
is free.
- LightZone for Linux mailing list -
A mailing list / web forum for the discussion of running LightZone
on Linux.
- Bibble Labs -
The makers of Bibble Pro photo editing software for Windows, Mac,
and Linux. I've just started playing with it. Noise Ninja is
integrated.
- RawStudio -
An open source (GTK) raw digital photo editing application for Unix
or Mac OS/X. Still immature, but good for basic batch processing.
- RawTherapee -
THe Experimental RAw Photo Editor. An open source (GTK) raw digital
photo editing application for Linux or Windows.
- UFRaw -
The defacto open source raw photo processing application for Unix/X.
- The Gnu Image Manipulation Program (GIMP) -
A powerful image editing program for Unix/X. Alas, it doesn't handle
raw camera images well.
- Options for Processing RAW Image Files on Linux -
The Linux options aren't as mature as those for Windows or MacOS,
but there are several to choose from. I currently prefer
LightZone.
- Freelance Photography Made Easy Magazine -
A UK magazine dedicated to making a buck as a freelance photographer.
Not much free content available to non-members.
